Eyes are sooo last season.

I like wearing hats that cover most of my face. For many reasons, really.

So I live in Utah... and there is this moderately to severely creepy park called Gilgal Sculpture Garden here. Also quite fascinating.

We went there a few weeks ago. Yes, there are sculptures of body parts scattered all over the hill in the last photo. Awesome.

Black velvet (high waisted pants) if you pleeeease.

I made these black velvet high waisted pants a couple of weeks ago. I have been wanting some for quite some time... but couldn't for the life of me find a pair that fancied my fanny. So I made these out of a stretchy velvet and added two silver clasps at the waist. We snuck into an abandoned mansion the other day and snapped these photos. I love trespassing slash pretending to be photogenic. I wonder if I should start calling myself the Long Bob Haircut Girl instead of just the regular Bob Haircut Girl?

Nikoline Liv Anderson

I randomly discovered Danish designer, Nikoline Liv Anderson, on Myspace (of all places - ehhh) a few years ago. It has tickled my fancy to follow her and witness her success. Truly absolutely incredible. I think I might cry. Note the bob haircut model. Here are a few of my favorite images from her website below. Click here to go to her website.

Gold fish.

This is me yesterday, wearing a gold necklace. It has a fish on it. I hadn't worn it in awhile. But then I saw this post by Sea of Shoes, and now my heart is yet again yearning for more animal jewelry slash accessories. Today I'm wearing a necklace with an elephant on it. I also recently acquired a black leather purse with a gold crocodile on it from a thrift store. I had to fight an old woman for it. No big deal.

OMBob.

OMBob you guys. Happy 2010. I've been soooo busy doing things like growing out my bob, getting over my fear of Crocs (unsuccessful), and absolutely nothing else.... that my bob blog has been negligently neglected neglectfully. But hold your horses. I'll be writing much more soon....

Also, what was this guy thinking? Ohhh the humanity. How dare he ask such a question. He's blind.

Anna Sui for Target!

I cannot even wait for Anna Sui's collection for Target to be available this fall (Sept. 13th - Oct. 17th). This is like a dream. Come. True.

There are 19 looks in all... and they are all inspired by Gossip Girl characters. I hate to admit it, but I liked Gossip Girl for like, a day. But then I suddenly remembered how much I hate TV.

Anyway, I love Anna Sui more than you can ever imagine. And I'll actually be able to afford this stuff. So so so so excited. Here are some of my favorite looks from the collection:

Oh my, am I into black hats right now er whut.

I love big black hats because they match with most of my wardrobe, it's a great way to avoid having to do my hair, they make me feel like a spy, and I can hide from people. I'm not kidding, being incognito is the best sometimes. Here are some black hats that I love, but definitely cannot afford (click image for details):

And this one right here is to D-I-E for. Taken from Sea of Shoes:

Lagerfeld for Vogue.

These are some of my most favorite editorial photographs ever. The first is from Vogue Germany October 2007. The rest are from Vogue Germany October 2008. All Karl Lagerfeld. So incredibly beautiful. Made me think of this post.

I especially love the fourth photo of the models' silhouettes. I love authentic late 1800's to early 1900's silhouette images so much. I recently found a late 1800's silhouette portrait of a family at an antique store. I wanted it so bad, but it cost 1,000 bones.

So I opted for these darling silhouette stickers from the 1920's. I'm still deciding what I'm going to do with them, but I'm so excited. Craft time:

On a lighter note.

This is a necklace that I bought at an antique store this weekend:

I totally love it and don't want to take it off. It has a fish on it.

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Except for right now. Just real quick.

I'm so sorry, but I've just been dying to get this off my chest.

Two of the grossest outfits I've seen lately:
